Terms of Service
These terms form the agreement between you and KnowMyQuote when you use the service. Please read them before uploading a quotation.
Last updated February 2026
1. The service
KnowMyQuote reviews a single contractor quotation or compares between two and five quotations, and produces a report describing what those documents state. The report is informational. It is not professional, legal, surveying or financial advice.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to upload each document you submit.
- You must not upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the service.
- You remain responsible for your own commercial decisions.
3. Accuracy
We report only what a document states and link each finding to its source wording. Documents vary in quality and structure, and extraction can be incomplete. You should always check findings against the original quotation before relying on them.
4. Intellectual property
You keep all rights in the documents you upload. We keep all rights in the platform, its design and its report formats. You may use reports for your own purposes, including sharing them with your advisers or contractor.
5. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KnowMyQuote is not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of a report, including contract disputes, cost overruns or variations. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or withdraw features to maintain and improve the service. We will update these terms when the service changes materially and revise the date above.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
